After she graduated from high school, Bahar Kakayewna attended Turkmen State Institute of Architecture and Construction. At Turkmen State Institute of Architecture and Construction Bahar Kakayewna was outgoing and successful. She graduated from Turkmen State Institute of Architecture and Construction in 2000 and wanted to attend graduate school, and work as a professor. After her graduation she started working as a Senior Economist in Department of Central Credit Resources and Its Supervision in President S.A. Niyazov District Branch of “Dayhanbank” State Commercial Bank of Turkmenistan. Later on she held the position of chief specialist of State Enterprise Lending Department of Credit Policy Department of “Dayhanbank” State Commercial Bank of Turkmenistan, Chief Specialist of the Financial Analysis and Banking Accounting Department of the Banking Supervision Department of the Central Bank of Turkmenistan. In recognition of her accomplishments she was presented the Jubilee Medal "30 Years of Independence of Turkmenistan" in 2021. Since 2020 she continues her professional carrier as a Senior Lecturer of the Department of Economics and Enterprise Management, Institute of Engineering and Transport Communications of Turkmenistan, Acting Head of the Department of Economics and Enterprise Management.
