Chief of Party, USAID Trade Central Asia (TCA)
Dr. Robert Voetsch leads the USAID Trade Central Asia Activity, overseeing projects across Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, and Uzbekistan. With over 30 years of international experience in 33 countries, he specializes in fostering partnerships between civil society, the private sector, and government to promote economic growth through trade and efficient governance. Dr. Voetsch has served as Chief of Party on USAID projects in Afghanistan and India and worked with the World Health Organization in Sudan and the United Nations Volunteers in Sri Lanka. His career began as a Peace Corps Volunteer in Korea and Yemen. He holds a Ph.D. in Management and Technology, as well as multiple advanced degrees from George Washington University and The American University in Washington, D.C.
