Elshan Zeynalov

Managing Director for Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, Azerbaijan, and Georgia, “Alstom” transport

Elshan Zeynalov works as Country Managing Director for Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan; Azerbaijan and Georgia in Alstom Transport starting from May 2015, based in Baku, Azerbaijan. Elshan has been working as the Area Sales Director, responsible for Central Asia and South Caucasus Cluster in ALSTOM GRID from 2012 till 2015. In the period of 2008 – 2012 Elshan was appointed to the position of Country Managing Director of AREVA T&D branch office in Azerbaijan. Between 2002 and 2008, he worked as a Representative of AREVA T&D in Azerbaijan and Turkmenistan. Elshan led a work of ALSTOM branch office in the scope of production, retail and marketing of small gas turbines and electric energy transmission and distribution from 1998 till 2002. From 1996 till 1998 he worked as an Operation Specialist in the project of Northern oil pipeline in BP. Between 1993 and 1996 he worked in PENZOIL company on the project of Off-shore gas pipeline construction and gas compressor plant operation. Born in 1968, Elshan graduated from the University of Languages and the University of Economics in Baku, Azerbaijan.
